The House Coffee Sanctuary is the only Kensington based (maybe all of Calgary?!) non-profit coffee shop owned and operated by Calgarians catered to the local community?
The House prides itself with serving fairly traded organic coffee which ensures an improved quality of life from the farmer to the packer.
We also strive to be heavily involved with the artistic community in Kensington. Community artists are featured on our walls and local musicians take to our stage every week.
We also run a variety of programs and events for our community, and our staff are committed to treating all of our customers with dignity and respect, going beyond what you’d find in a normal coffee shop.

History: The House Coffee Sanctuary was opened by First Alliance Church in November, 2001. Our purpose is to connect with Calgarians by doing our best to serve our community in Kensingotn while offering a great coffee and experiences.
