Raindance Alberta and Alberta Buzz are partnering with The House Coffee Sanctuary for another night of film.
An invitation is extended to all independent filmmakers to bring their shorts for public screening on Saturday April 4, 2012 at 6:30 PM.
Join us for an evening of art, dance, spoken word, and music! A fundraiser show and art sale for Dikaios (a local group with a message to raise awareness for sex trafficking) will take place this Friday beginning at 7PM.
Special musical guests Fire On the City perform.

Because of some identified needs with the downtown and Kensington community, we’re teaming up with some partners to deliver winter clothing to those in need. The House Coffee Sanctuary, along with Calgary Church and King’s Bridge, are teaming up to collect gently used or new winter clothing for those in need.

Come down to the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Center for our monthly community chili dinner. Along with our partners, The House works in the community to bridge neighbors together. Come join us for a free chili dinner from 6-7 tonight.
This is our last chili supper until March 2012.
2011 will bring together perhaps the largest Sun n Salsa to day if the recent weather is any indication of what we’re to expect.

What a cool weekend happening in Kensington. First off, the Bow River Flow hits Memorial Drive Sunday, August 22nd. The Eastbound lanes will be closed for foot traffic with tons of fun events. Be sure to sneak into Kensington and visit us for a coffee or some freshly squeezed lemonade!
It’s here again! The 2010 edition of the Kensington Sun ‘N Salsa event is this Sunday July 25. We won’t be giving out pails of Salsa this year, but we’ll have an ample supply of cool drinks at our booth in front of the shop. Stop on by and win a T-Shirt!
